    A/C Gauge Set

Yes you can, the pressure readings will be the same but the temperature scales are different. Also r12 uses 1/4 flare fittings and r134 uses 1/2 acme threads on the hoses. Unless it's a really good gauge set or you get hoses, adapters, etc for cheap or free then you can probably buy a new set...

Front disc brake kit question and or feedback

I have had one on for about eight years. They use Monte carlo calipers and 1/2 ton chevy rotors that have had the center hole enlarged. I think the only problem I had was some wrong length bolts. They don't have dust shields either but no problems otherwise. I thought it was a lot easier than...

According to their website mid atlantic has it. http://www.midatlantictoyotaparts.com/oem-part/oem-toyota/bush-shaft/90999-70027 They seem to be readily available for the disc front ends, any chance you could do a little machine work to make the 9099-70067 work?

    removing valve spings

I have one of these and it works great. http://www.matcotools.com/catalog/product/16750/VALVE-SPRING-COMPRESSOR/ I also used compressed air to hold the valve up but for what your doing it sounds like you might be better off putting the piston at top dead center. Good luck
