Ha- I think when I was trying to do the original AC setup you posted some photos of the brackets so I could see what I was trying to put together? Or to compare to the FJ62 stuff, something like that.... it was awhile ago.
Too bad that catalog only shows 3/4 views of the pulleys, and no...
I need to replace my worn AC clutch but I cant figure out what application it was originally from to get the right part number.
I have a good working AC system that I've been running for 13 years now, needs a new clutch.
I bought the motor side of the AC as a complete unit to fit to my HZ, I...
Thanks guys, but sorry- you are like 5th and 6th in line behind the first official "I'll take it"
Per the rules of the internet, will go by timestamps and update.
Old thread for sure, had to go check, but yes it looks like I do still have these parts. I had another empty pod and I sold that, but these are still here.
cheers,
KR
Sorry for the delay guys, don't get much internet time these days, or much time at all. :-p
I actually have a batch of mounts in my shop but I only get over there one day a week at best and other stuff is higher up the priority list.
Antennas aren't typically a super-pressing thing so if you can...
They can be opened from the inside by pushing on the latches, or from the outside by way of the locking actuator.
The actuator does not need to be mounted in that specific location, it is just the bolt-in option. With another gasket set they could be mounted elsewhere and the cables are long...
Having messed with the pump timing more than I would like to have, it's pretty obvious when it's not in the right range. Advanced timing to that extent would not be ignorable. It would be tough to start, stumble, clatter like crazy, rattle, shake, it might go good, but not from a stop and not at...
My bearing looked and felt fine as well, but it wasn't.
Replace it, only a $13 part.
Past that the fit of the bearing into the timing case is surprisingly loose on the multiple engines I've dealt with (by no means an expert here) but that seems to be the way they are. Your bearing looks as...
I didn't realize the link was busted, must be something from the forum changeover, I'll see if I can fix it.
I keep chipping away at the lids, they go up on the site and get snatched right up. Got a couple more headed to powder coat tomorrow.
That's great Todd!
Glad you like and hope it serves you guys well.
Past all that though, can't you shuffle some other storage around and switch places with your recovery gear? So many people put their heavy recovery gear in there even though you have to pick all of it up every time you close...
I need another HZ block, and pistons if it happens to have clean ones.
Just the block, not any other parts.
Let me know if there is anything out there that fits the bill....
Actually, it MIGHT.
Your lid is in the next batch of parts, should go to powder coat Monday, so that is the last day of March!
I ended up getting really sick and lost the last 3 weeks of work time, back to trying to catch up again now.

Thanks for the support Kief, the parts alone make it a pricey project, hence the parts list a few pages back.
And yup, the plan was to make the units in a modular fashion so the only parts that change from platform to platform is the outer frame profile. For now the cruisers keep me plenty...
The FSM only describes sealant for the installation of non-US style gaskets (General and Canada) that have no mechanical lock strips. The sealant is not used or listed in the FSM for lock strip style gaskets.
