Third row seat parts (right side) just need the swing-down and latch parts. The stuff normally attached to the side and bottom of the seat.. i suck at describing things.
I had this sweet plan to make a shop couch out of the third row seats so i ditched all the stuff I wasn't going to use.. fast-forward, now i need to get the seats in. At least one, as I've mounted the spare tire inside.
So question one; can i put only one seat back? And question two...
A no-start issue has me wondering how does a starter act as it dies? Do they tend to go quickly or slowly? Does it somehow gain friction, or does it simply do nothing? Battery charger is telling me the battery is charged but everything else says otherwise... freakin mysterious pixies.
there is an integrated shield for the dryer, which i thought i would definitely utilize but as it turns out, mine, a 93', doesn't have the dryer in that spot. weird.
Just finished bolting up a new bumper from BIO and thought I'd share with the muddies how stoked I am with the whole thing. First off, Mike rules.. his craftsmanship is stellar. This bumper has serious aesthetic qualities and you definitely can't beat the price. I had them powder-coat and ship...
I have a leak from the power steering reservoir which i've just been topping off for quite a while.. any kind of extended uphill driving seems to make the power steering louder and it tends to leak a little more. first off, exactly what should i be using in the power steering res? secondly, does...
FIPG is a super good product. It's all in the application, this stuff is used by toyo mechs around the world and that's because it works. If it's used right I guess.
this is just a mock up using my mtn bike light.. I do realize i'll need to take off some tint and probably use some kind of hood to prevent inside glare. I may end up using one or possibly two 10w cree's...... I just don't want to crack the glass if it gets too hot. the whole idea is to keep it...
Playing around with lighting ideas and have some questions for the cruiser guys.. For a rear flood light, could a small LED (like a 10w or maybe two) be mounted inside the cab directly against the rear window? I know they put off heat but how much is too much for the window.. particularly in...
I agree. I always thought it was kinda weird to see a built cruiser that still had that thing bolted under there. A hitch is a must-have so I figured why not get it as high as possible.
thanks, I'm no welder but it's doing the job intended. I didn't measure before and after but it gained quite a bit of clearance. It is off a couple degrees because I just started welding instead of tacking it the way I should have. I guess that gives it character.
A fellow mud member suggested I maybe do a build thread on an integrated 2" receiver I built last summer.. So just in case it helps anyone else, here you go. First I picked up a 2"x 12" receiver stock and then T'd that to a cross member made from the same material. I used triple bead welds...
