Genuine seats are not the best for the long trips. The spare set with the modern covers are much more practical. The OEM set stays for the exhibition

Few upgrades were helpful.
Seat extension gives me fun to sit and to drive
Speedometer light upgrade (white paint + extra watts) provides comfort for the night driving

Thanks. It was several updates for the pto winch. The BJ4 shafts before and after 1979 stays the same (10.1981). The FJ4 shafts changed in 1979.
PS interesting puzzle
I was converting Petrol FJ40 gearbox into Diesel BJ40/42version. On top of the input shaft there is a front bearing retainer problem.
I think it is interesting to see the visual differences between FJ/BJ versions. To the “knowledge” library
