Got it two years ago from Todd out East when he was selling a bunch of them, paid $950 for it. It will need lights, some paint and the brakes rebuilt if you want them to work. Has Toyota hubs and 60 wheels on it. I was thinking $700. :meh:
I'll be heading to the Roundup in Mason TX on March...
These are Slee's 80 series regular sliders not the step ones. They fit years '95 thru '97. They are three years old and will need some paint as the winters are tough here in Iowa. I'll be heading to the Roundup in TX March 16 and could bring them. I was thinking $600. :meh:

FZJ80 1996 need to replace the nuts on the front O2 sensor. They are 12mm heads but in my box of spare nuts the common 12mm thread pitch is too course. Can someone please tell me the thread pitch?
Thanks!

Looking for a low mileage complete or mostly so engine to replace my blown one (oil pressure, what's that?). The Midwest or NorCal would be best, but if the price is right I'll drive farther. Not in a big hurry so if you know of something that won't be available for awhile that's OK too.

this has been talked about before. any thoughts to moving these to Friday night? it would make it easier for those of us traveling a long distance (MN, IA, MO, CO) and it shouldn't be too much trouble for the local folks to get still there.
thanks!
It's tough to follow Romer and that awesome rig of his, but I'll give it a try...
The truck below is a locked 1996 FZJ80 with 139,000 miles purchased in the Kansas City area 3 weeks ago. This was after a great talk with Romer and his sage advice about getting down to one truck. I'm working...
would it be OK to use Slee's plates on a 2.5" OME medium lift (w/arb and winch) instead of bushings. As always happens, the lift will probably go higher. Messing with the bushings, in now, out later, sound like a bunch of work. Anyone running the plates with the lower lift? Is the steering...

OK, we have a forum at both places... in there lies a quandry... where does one post stuff?
I'll probably post here for two reasons, I'm here a lot and it makes what we are doing public for those other TLCA members that might want to take part in an activity.
thoughts?
FWI... TLCA is...

here are a couple of suggested changes...
section 1, item 2:
"Own a Toyota vehicle with a transfer case."
This would then include LC's, mini's, Taco's, Tundra's, 4runner's... not just the two models listed now.
section 2:

Rich Greene who owns my old FJ62 is in town and I thought we could get together and drink a  or two with him. How about Thursday night, Oct 26th, 7pm at Rookies on 63rd, south of Park Ave a block or so... same place we were last week.
Thanks!

not a good thing...
picked up a '94 with 276K miles and lockers, planning on parting it out because it steers hard and all four tires scrub when turning more than 1/2 way either direction. then notice that one of the tires is 265-70-16 the other three are 275-70-16... all are shot... the rims...
There are comments coming up in the "raise dues" thread about merchandise, so here is it's own thread. (Woody, can you move the stuff from the other thread to here?)
When Cindy told me they were moving and needed the stuff gone, TLCA needed to scramble. ANC does Toyota's work and it seemed like...
