Thanks to everyone for reporting. I bought 3-4 things over the years and I never got stiffed but there was always something not right like an "in stock" item taking too much time and powder coating getting delayed yet again etc... with all the support he had online it was certainly a strange...
Greetings,
Ok so my 2007 registered the OBD mass air flow failure as the 2007 does. This was over a year ago. I purchased the bypass kit here:

I only installed the wires, worked like a charm. A few moths ago I put in a new...
I will never see the inside of a Toyota dealership service center again. I have owned Land Cruisers since '94. I have not been to a dealership for anything but to pick up parts in over 15 years. This is from many years of experience with Toyota dealerships in multiple states. I just simply can't...
Thanks for all of your input! I ordered the Denso from Rockauto on Wednesday. $150 plus $22 shipping. They said it would get here next Tuesday, but it got here an hour ago (Friday afternoon). 2 day delivery, not too shabby (They shipped from SoCal, I am in PHX). I have already taken the old one...
Not sure if any of this is relevant but, yesterday the a/c had a tough time getting cold but after a mile or two on the road it was kicking in fine. Today it took a little longer and the a/c would cut out when the LC was standing idle in front of my buddy's house. Then when pulling away from the...
Thank you very much for that link. Looks like that's what I got, right down to the limp mode.
Next question is... does anybody know the breakdown in the $3K the dealers are asking for to "replace the system"? I'm not surprised in the least that it's that much. Last year I bought a generic...
Greetings! I've read some of the other threads with the same dash lights popping on and it appears these lights are on for one general reason... to try and get you to the dealership. So here's what's happening with me.
I have a 2007 with 133,000 mi.
The trio of lights came on... and nothing...
Just to update or clarify.... I found the YouTube tutorial that said to set odometer to "Trip A" and it did not work. What DID work for my 2007 fj100 was just having it on the regular 'ol odometer reading, then with everything off, push in the odometer rod/button and hold, then turn key to "on"...
Took my 80 out there, dropped it's redcap optima into the 100, started it up brought it home, yaddah yaddah yadda, I'm shopping for a new alternator. Good call TTO5. I had to learn the hard way.
Well that didn't take long. I don't think my first post is even 3 hours old. Took the family to Chipoltle just now... all was fine going there... voltage light and tire pressure light still on. On the way back though, the VSC light came on, brake light came on, ABS light came on, probably a...
Hmm.. same here. In Phoenix. Had the 100 out yesterday just to check out the local damage. No question the undercarriage and more got wet. Voltage light came on. Going over some rocks set the tire pressure light off too. Hopefully it'll dry out in a couple of days and shut off. It's been pretty...
I have both. The 80 is pretty juiced up and the 100 is completely stock. I have no inclination to juice the 100 up. It's perfect as the family truckster. Love the 80 because I know it like the back of my hand and at this point, really really confident in it's reliability and off-road...
