    Flywheel & starter replacement?

    I need some advice. These are pics of the flywheel teeth and starter teeth. Not sure if wore bad enough to replace both or just a new starter? Is this beyond normal wear? What do you think? Any advice is appreciated.

    I broke off the shock mount on the rear drivers side ubolt plate. I need the drivers side or would take a pair if anybody has them. It's for a 78 fj40. Not sure what all years are the same in this regard. PM me or post here. Thanks :beer:

    stock height?

    I bought a 78 fj40 that I currently have stripped down to the frame and suspension. I am trying to determine if it is stock or has a 2.5" lift. Its not a good pic but the best one I had on my phone. I can post another when I get back to shop. Any help is appreciated.

    79 rear cross member on a 78?

    Will a 79 rear cross member with the rear spring gussets work on my 78? I am needing the rear spring gussets for both side and found a rear cross member with them still attached but it is off of a 79. Thanks in advance

    Ignition starts in ACC position

    I have a 78 fj40 I just bought and it tries to start in the ACC position. You turn it to run and it will quit, but turn forward to go ahead and start. Not sure where to start, is this an ignition issue or wiring issue? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.:beer:
