I installed these shocks last week along with some OME springs and torsion bars. So far I'm happy with the ride quality and it's certainly much better than the Fox 2.0 I was previously running. Looking forward to getting them on the dirt once a little more snow melts!
My family and I will be headed down (from Golden) Saturday the 18 and will be camping in Ridgway if you still need/want someone to grab your skid plate.
I'm interested to learn how others are mounting fridge slides too. I have the Alu-Cab slide and I used t-nuts to mount it to the top board and it's worked out great so far. Super solid.
Excited as ever for HIH! Wouldn't miss my first one! If there's room, I'm in to ride the bike park in Telluride. Anyone else think this would be fun... Via Ferrata - Telluride Mountain Club

You can definitely remove the slide portion with the fridge attached, it's heavy but totally doable by yourself. The base of the slide will still be attached to the drawers so this wouldn't allow for a completely flat surface.
Basically, I did what you described...t-nuts and bolts...except I used about 10-12 with washers and locking washers. I think a couple important things to check before drilling any holes would be that the slide is not touching the top edge of the drawer when it's in the tilt position. But it also...
