Does the non-start happen when the engine is hot?
I would say improved seat of the pants performance but not much MPG improvement. I went with a 3" custom exhaust and kept a single cat. Intermittent CEL for lean condition. Currently no CEL!
CXRacing headers will delete your EGR! There is no channel cut for the #6 exhaust to port to the...
I know you were asking about the wire on the left. I just grabbed a picture from a different thread that showed the same general area, although highlighting a different wire. The wire you circled in blue may be A23 Air Mix Control Servo Motor or W5 Water Temp. Sensor. Connections are...
A23 Air Mix Control Servo Motor
W 5 Water Temp. Sensor
are in the neighborhood. See the EWD in Resources.
Coming out from under the heater would suggest W5.
Odd looking residue around the sun roof. Like duct tape that was there and removed?
A couple of leading causes for wet front floor mats are:
- non-Toyota method for windshield replacement. It's a whole thing with method and adhesive that is different from the usual.
- plugged drains...

The 2nd character in both codes is a zero. Search P0171 on "this forum" and it brings up many hits.
Did replacing the charcoal cannister solve the rule tank pressure build up? It should have, You may have 2 or 3 separate issues.

Ronald, I don't see your specific Land Cruiser model and aftermarket items shown. If you could share these details you may be able to get more specific suggestions from the forum.
Year, model, petrol/diesel, suspension lift, tire size, turbocharger/supercharger, bumpers, rock sliders, things...
There is a cut off for the AC when the coolant temperature goes above 226'F / 108'C. The stock temperature gauge is not that helpful. Any temp between ~150 and ~230 does not move the gauge. The purpose of the AC cutoff is to protect the engine but it is at the expense of the cabin comfort. I...
This is the stock negative terminal. Ignore the blue arrow. The large wire drops down past the charcoal cannister and ends up below the oil filter. It bolts to the block forward of the starter.
Maybe you had a ground to the block=starter through the 2nd battery setup and now it is not there?
I don't see the heavy gauge ground cable that should attach to the engine block. I only see the light gauge wire going to the left front quarter panel. The heavy cable should come through the hole in the battery enclosure right behind the negative terminal. This will give you a large...
My CRX headers are coming up on six years old. I still love the exhaust sound on startup. The only issue was early on with the nuts and bolts where the 3-1 pipes were connected. The lock washers lost their tension due to the heat and vibrated loose. This is above the section of flex pipe. I...
