Hello all!
I am looking to buy a new FJ. I sold my '89 a few years back, and want to own a truck again. I am looking for some insight regarding 100-series cruisers and what to look for when buying one. I've looked through the Classifieds here, but most of the trucks are in too good of condition...
This June, my girlfriend and I will be driving from Upstate NY to LA in my FJ62. Wondering if anybody has suggestions of stuff that we must stop at (for example beautiful places that need to be seen before dying). I am more familiar with the West, but everything in between will be new. Maybe...
I wanna throw these onto my FJ62 and I am riding on the OEM wheels. Wondering if these will clip in or if I have to get different wheels. Anybody know? Thanks
If anyone out there has a guide they know of or have made, or experience with this procedure, I'd really appreciate some guidance. Photos help a lot! Thank you

I noticed the oil gauge in the dash was very low and the CE light came on. Pulled over, changed the oil, and got back in, gauge was stable for a bit and then it sunk down to below low and the CE doesn't go on...this is confusing. Could it be a gauge problem? what should I check?
where I live now, upstate NY, the gas stations all has gas that contains 10% ethanol and right when I put it in, the check engine light goes on. I never had a problem before when I was putting gas in it in Los Angeles, CA. what to do?
Looking for some aftermarket speakers but I see that most don't fit in the car. anyone have experience with ones that do fit? also, good company for load bars and gutter clips?
is there a way to do that? my friend had the idea of stripping the paint from the car and just rolling with the raw metal color, what sort of coats would have to be put on top to keep it from rusting? clear paint....? could be cool!!

Im moving my FJ62 from LA to the Hudson Valley where I go to college. I was wondering what its like battling with rust out there, and how you all recommend I survive the winter. I assume this truck will hold up well but I keep hearing that its going to have a hard time in the winter. Any...
i bought this heap! $2500 and 199,800 miles. now I've had some work done on it. and i wondering when it is finally gonna look like a great truck. so far I've had all the hoses in the engine replaced, engine flush, new gear box, new wheel caps, new tires, wiper blades, adding new bumpers...
not gonna be off roading and i live where it snows, rains, and is extremely humid, so this "all-season" tire seems like a suitable consumer friendly tire. anyone total was 670 for 4 new tires and to align and all that jazz. good? bad?
