Went through a car wash last night and it ripped off the rear spoiler/wind deflector on my ‘98. Went back today when I realized it was missing and found it in pieces.
Anyone have one they’d want to part with?
For sale are BFG KM3 mud terrain tires sized at 285 55 20, load range E.
They came on my recently purchased LX 570, have about 2,000 miles on them and are in perfect condition. I just wanted to go a different direction. These retail for about $400/tire. I believe $700 would be reasonable for...
Looking to replace the leather in my front seats. I passed up a deal a few years ago and have been kicking myself ever since. If someone has some good condition leather laying around let me know. Thank you.
I'm still in the middle of replacing my front rotors and realized something. When I removed the hub there were no gaskets. I remember seeing a video of a knuckle rebuild where they replaced gaskets, but my '78 doesnt seem to have any. I'm specifically thinking of the two 'outer' ones (star shape...
For the first time, I'm putting new rotors on the front of my '78. The ones that are on there seem to be OEM. I order the new rotors from O'reilly b/c Toyota wanted to charge me $140 each.
After getting the hub apart and and the rotor off, I noticed that the ones from O'reilly are slightly...

I am the 3rd owner. I bought it from a mechanic in Silver Cliff, CO who owned it for...
Driving today and noticed white smoke coming from the rear heater. Couldn't smell anything. It was from a cold start after driving for about 10 minutes.

Need some help here. I was working under my (new to me) '78 putting new leafs in. It's a pretty straight forward job and all was going well until I removed the front DS leaf pack and found that the bracket that attaches to the frame is fairly loose.
Here's a video I took of the problem...
I purchased a '78 a couple months ago and noticed shortly after that the steering box started leaking. I've looked through thread after thread on what exactly to do. Some say to replace the seal while others say fill it with moly grease while others say with OEM-type oil.
I think I'm leaning...
