Hey, yeah, its holding up just fine. The cheap tractor paint i used sucks (not peeling just gets chalky) and probably need to replace the battery... Besides that, the only thing I replaced was the cheap Amazon roof vent fan for a MaxFan. I should probably look into the galley hatch hinge, too...
Nice! Been putting off the same job because I never liked the look of the leather offered from other companies, if just doing the seat skin. The leather Wolfman uses looks OEM from the pictures you posted. The stitching looks really good, too. He had 1 driver seat skin in gray for the LX left...
New tires and a long overdue wash.
295/70/18 Nitto Recon Grappler. Went with the SL vs LT. The ride quality vs old LT STT Pros is significant, almost feels like a lexus again.
That's crazy! Small world... The patrol was pretty cool. One of the rare soft tops. The way scouts are going up in $$$, yours is getting more valuable just sitting there. I had no idea what fixed up ones go for till after I got mine.
Hit the road for the first time. Steering wandered pretty bad. Installed some 4* shims and all good now. Besides being slooooooow, it was a great ride. My boys were concerned that something was wrong because all the people waving at us. Still a long way to go, but at least it's drivable now
Been working on this 65 Scout for about 6mos now. This is my first attempt at attempting a project like this, so..... I'm learning as I go, and not perfect.
So far.... Lots of body filler REMOVAL, dent pulling, cutting and welding panel patches. Body filler applied, but nowhere near the amount...
My project. Lots of surface rust, a few pinholes on the lower quarter panels, and lots of lazy bodywork. That'll all be taken care of.
Anyway, as you can see in the background, he has some nice projects
