Cruiser Corp fuel pump for FJ40 '77

Thanks for the information. Has anybody actually replaced a diaphragm? If so, how did you disengage the diaphragm "T" stem from the metal collar inside the lower case seal? What is the "trick?" Thanks

New Fuel Pump leaking from the weep holes - 1970 FJ40 (early model)

Wandersee, In your photo above, you have a threaded connection to the fuel filter on the fuel line. Did you "find" the fuel line with the coupler or did the rig come with it? I have a 1972 and the old fuel line has a double female threaded connection. I am looking for a replacement.

1972 FJ40 Fuel Pump Rebuild - How To?

Yep, tried that. Does not appear to be enough room. So, I am sure there is a "trick" to disengage. Just don't know it.

1972 FJ40 Fuel Pump Rebuild - How To?

Thanks - you were right. I finally got ahold of a "body" at the dealership this morning, yes open Sunday now, and he tried to track it down. It is no longer available. I did pick up a fuel pump a while back, PN: 23100-61011, will go ahead and install it. The dealership said not to throw...

1972 FJ40 Fuel Pump Rebuild - How To?

So, question is how to get the lower rubber seal with a metal collar off the "T" stem for re-use. Again, the only part I can find is the diaphragm (PN: 23103-60021) for $24.69 plus $10.50 in shipping. Do I need to rebuild the entire unit without access to the other parts? I do have some rust...

1972 FJ40 Fuel Pump Rebuild - How To?

I have a replacement fuel pump as at the time could not find a "rebuild kit" for the 1972 FJ40. It was leaking like a sieve when I started it up. Assume bad diaphragm. Someone also told be to change my oil as the fuel can leak back into the case through the fuel pump access. So, here is what...

1972 FJ40 Fuel Pump Fuel Filter Fuel Line and Fuel Pump Bolts

Thanks for the part number for the Fuel Pump bolts. Will get them ordered. Regarding the fuel line, I may cut off the fittings on the old line and replace the deteriorated fuel line and attach with hose clamps. Will have another post on the Old Fuel Pump as I took it apart. Can't find a...

1972 FJ40 Fuel Pump Fuel Filter Fuel Line and Fuel Pump Bolts

Purists, My 1972 FJ40 was plagued with a one year of manufacturing of the fuel filter and fuel line on the non-pressure side of the fuel pump. It takes a coupled connection. I cannot find any Toyota fuel lines with the coupled thread fitting. Fuel filter "out" (23030-24011) threaded connects...

1993 FJ80 Preventative Maintenence Parts -- Cleaning Out Garage - Anything Salvagable?

Thanks, will keep the black fan clutch for son and get rid of the rest to the salvage yard as it is now categorized as "junk." Wife will be happy to be rid of the stuff. Thanks for the help in sorting through the junk.

    FJ40 Hardtop Lift Storage System

For those of you that were envious of "all the space" in my garage back in 2013. Years later, here is an update of the projects including the 1972 FJ40, 1975 FJ55, and 1972 VW Karmann Ghia. I added FJ40 "Roller Skates" to allow one person to move the FJ40 to line up the top when putting it...

1993 FJ80 Preventative Maintenence Parts -- Cleaning Out Garage - Anything Salvagable?

Hey, have these parts laying around in garage for years now. Son took FJ80 to Arizona so left with these used parts with about 190,000 miles on them as was conducting preventative maintenance on the FJ80. Probably throw away but will probably hang onto the "black" fan clutch as I replaced it...

    Used Radiator *For Sale*

I replaced the leaky radiator in my '93 FJ80 a couple years back and held on to this in the mean time. Just wanted to see if any one has a need for a radiator that had a few leaks in places. Didn't just want to get rid of it if anyone could use it, or had a need for one. Thanks for looking, and...

How to Unlock Rear Tailgate to Open - Magic?

OK --- Pig has been sitting awhile --- while son does front axle seals and brakes. I can not get the rear tailgate handle to open after retracting rear window inside of tailgate. Tailgate window switch works on dash... a little intermittent... but works. Key for rear lock operates the window...

    Loud sunroof wind noise.

Here is what "kernal" said https://forum.ih8mud.com/posts/9008442/ Nice picture but it I do not think it matches up with the manual. Others have described "popping" out he trim. However, which way do you pop it out. Towards the interior or outwards. The clip appears to be in the corner...

    Loud sunroof wind noise.

Does anyone have a successful procedure for removing the moonroof trim without breaking it? The 1993 Toyota Landcruiser Manual,, page BO-55 shows removal of two clips on W (driver side) of trim to expose the locations to adjust the level with shims. How do you remove these clips w/o breaking...

Removal of Master Power Window Switch - What is the trick?

Thanks Ken702... My rear windows will sort of work with the rear switches... but, they have to be "helped" back up. It is a pain. So I think they work. The front switch does not control them at all so thought I would replace. A junkyard camry switch is $35. Thought it was worth a shot...

Removal of Master Power Window Switch - What is the trick?

1993 FJ80 So I don't break the switch or holder, what is the trick to removing the switch from the driver's door holder? Do I need to remove the door panel 1st? Need to replace switch but need to take it out first before going to junkyard. Cruiser Dan posted that a 89 - 94 camry switch will...
