I hate that I missed this thread. I am the owner of Ex Cop Offroad. We were the first to test the Ironman Foam Cell Pro and the first (and still largest) distributor for them. Yes, they are owned by Metal Tech, but MT agreed that they will not compete with us on pricing, etc. I'd be glad to...
Final trip report and photos are in progress on the blue forum:

We had an awesome time! Put a lot of dirt under the tires and enjoyed the scenery for sure.
I am not sure why the other thread was closed but I was sharing something that I am building that will do just that. Actually a couple of somethings. If you have one external speaker and you want ham radio and CB from it, that is fairly simple and I have already done this. If interested, send me...
Guys, I have an audio mixer in the works that I hope to have available in a month or so. I have the prototype circuit cards on order. This will allow mixing of CB, ham, etc and stereo inputs to the aux jack of the car stereo. It converts the mono from CB/ham to a stereo output. I have a thread...
Awesome! I think our plans are to camp near the hot springs if we can.
I'd love to get up there and photograph that place in the snow! It is absolutely beautiful!
Dude, I was up in Bodie in June of last year and there was still snow in patches! I had a campfire at night to stay warm!:)
Be safe up there! Be sure to give them a call before you head up and drop a few dollars in the tip jar before you leave. :grinpimp:
Take some pics! I cant wait to...
Sounds like we think a lot alike! I own the Stan Paher library among many others. LOL Yep, I have been to the castle and want to take this group by there if possible.
we had heard from some other folks that Swansea Grade from the Salt Tram is impassable/closed. They had to close the road to...
Well said on that! Mobile HF is an altogether different beast. Diamond and Hustler are two names that come to mind in the Mobile HF market that are some of the better. Also have a look at MFJ.
I try to do one of these a year at least, so this year I finish my cancer treatment in April, so June is gonna be my "victory lap". It's going to look something like this:
Departing from Vegas June 14th:
1st Camp (14th) Panamint Springs in Death Valley. (173 miles from Las Vegas) I'll drop...
Do it! I use an AB 800 and/or AB1600 with the Paul C Buff large silver PLM for most auto shoots. I built a portable power rig from a 35AH gel cell battery and Samlex 600Watt inverter.
Quick update. I had a freaking round with Trimble tech Support. I did the v2.1 update and ended up losing every single way point that I had saved! (My bad for not backing up) Lots of people were complaining that after the update they had to delete app and start over.
Since then, I switched...
Had a pretty cool day up on the mountain! I think I want to do this one as a night run this winter! A great trail for sure. Got the photos I wanted and had some fund with the grand daughter.

From what I remember, you have to pull the wheel well liner to get to that. It has been 20+ years since I have worked on a Dodge truck. Let me know which firestick mount you are looking at. (I am a Firestick retailer as well as about 100 other CB radio and antenna manufacturers.)
Nice idea for a bumper mount!
Looking at your rig, "If" this were mine to fix, what I would do would be to replace the AM/FM antenna with the 2M antenna. Like this one:
OR/and add the FM or 2M to the other side. It would take a little fabrication, but honestly I would do that in a heart...
1911... u on the Blue board too? :D
What is your SWR readings on the NGP? With the Tacoma's that I have tried them on, I could never get an SWR below 2:1 (hardly ever). That just is not efficient. BUT, if you have found one that works better, then I'd love to see the SWR numbers because I'd...
