Thank you for weighing in on the topic. I'm sure I missed it somewhere in the 7 pages of this thread, but can someone post a link to "Frank". My finger was on the trigger to roll the dice with Lseat but now I'd like to see what options Frank has. I need to replace the front seats on my '04...
Thank you for this thread and write up. It was exactly what I needed to do the same with the SR5 wheels that I put on my GX. Below is the write-up of my process.

For the moment, I haven't used any glue...
Project #7
So the GX's wheels were looking pretty rough so I decided to replace them with another compatible set of Toyota / Lexus rims. I finally settled on 4Runner (SR5?) wheels. The swap out was pretty straight forward but I also wanted to convert the Toyota badge over to a Lexus emblem...
@weejub I'd love to know what price he ends up getting for those. I have been hording my collection of Ardbeg & Laphroaig special releases for the rainy day that I owe the mob some money or some other catastrophe.
The front row are opened bottles that I partake of periodically. The back row...
Hey, I finally awoke from my pandemic slumber, and thought I would check MUD. Hope everyone is doing well!
Two things:
1. I'm searching for a quick-setup hard shell rooftop tent that sleeps 4. The two usual suspects are the Roofnest Condor XL and the iKamper SkyCamp 2.0. I have a few...
I'm selling our family car, a 2012 Toyota Highlander. Here is the FB Marketplace listing:

All necessary info should be there, but I'm happy to answer any additional questions. Willing to throw in a MUD-discount :) PM me if you want...
Another similar approach I've found is to spray (or pour) a fifth of vodka into my mouth and then sit in the sun. I typically can't smell anything for the next 24 hours. :cheers:o_O:vomit:
I think I'll try your approach next time!
Next was some mild clean up...
Onward to bolt hole alignment. The bolt holes in the bracket-to-frame were off by about 1/8". I remedied that situation by using slightly smaller diameter bolts. Just dropping down one size created enough wiggle room that I was able to thread both bolts...
I've been playing around with the offroad trailer again lately. I decided I wanted to put a truck cap on it, do a simple truck bed build out for solo camping adventures, and put a hitch on the back of the trailer for bike-carriers, stabilization purposes, and other "genius" ideas that I have...
Today around 1:30ish at Lowes off of Peters Creek Pkwy in Winston Salem... Didn't see an ONSC sticker anywhere on it but maybe I missed it.
I parked next to it so that my rig could hear some good war stories while I was in Lowes.
On the way out of the parking lot, I saw another stock 80...
I can't help but weigh in on this...
I've never obtained a full bottle myself, but I've been fortunate to be friends with those who (somehow) always come up with Pappy. This has afforded me the opportunity to try most of them (10, Lot B, 15, 20, Rye...). Everytime I try it, I go in...
Yup!, I think Jane is very pleasant. Of course I'm a big fan of the higher ABVs and Jane rolls at 45.5% so I don't usually stick with Jane, but it's an enjoyable dram.
Busted! That was me. I almost posted an offer to Mud-ship from Asheville to WS that day but the trip nearly fell through....
I'm going a different direction with the trailer. I bought a truck cap for it in TN. My buddy in Knoxville picked it up for me and we met in Asheville. The logical...
At first-read, I thought @Pick told you to wear a "longer tube-top" and that you responded that you "don't wanna risk repeatedly tube-toppin' the fellas unnecessarily"
On the second-read, I realized that I completely mis-read things and that I have to stop drinking...
Due to the pandemic, I decided to close my downtown office and work 100% from home. As a result, I was forced to combine my office stash with my home stash. Below is the love child of the two collections:
I giggled like a schoolgirl the first time I stepped back and saw them all together on...
