i've had a bmw too and the satellite radio was spot on. no real difference in volume. the GX satellite just basically blows unless you really crank it....but then it's too loud and harsh to enjoy. i've actually cancelled my subscription a few times because of it. Then signed up again because i...
hmm...i stay pretty busy so maintenance is not something i want to be doing constantly. that's not going to deter me yet from still wanting one though.
oh wow. that's a pretty thorough write-up. thanks! It would mostly be a kid-hauler during the week and a mild adventurist vehicle on the weekends. i love the look of the 80's series...especially with big tires and a roof rack.
I was a huge LR fan prior to buying my GX. I loved my 2000 Disco. However, i didn't love visiting my mechanic every other week. The GX has been great and i couldn't be happier with the transition to Lexus. :)
I'm also in the market for some new upgrades. I just put on new wheels and tires and...
i kinda like that one too. i might research it a bit more. someone told me about the front runner outfitters rack. i would probably modify it a bit to have a deflector or sides.

thanks! i really appreciate the help guys!

I'd like to get some opinions here too, but didn't want that to be the focus since i still need a good shop in the Dallas area.
For now, i've been thinking about getting the adjustable Bilstein 5100 shocks up front and use the existing springs for them. In the rear, i was going to keep the...
