published mpg means nothing offroad. An electric motor with max torque on demand should allow a little 4banger to sip fuel compared to a v6 spooling up turbos offroad. Im more curious to see the real world fuel numbers driving offroad 5-20 mph.
just an FYI- the 250 is built on the 300 platform which is superior to the 200 platform. So we all might want to wait til its actually out- and see what its all about before calling it a complete disappointment???? And given its coming in $30k cheaper than the 200 out of the box.....if...
Im seeing lots of 2016s from $42-48k. 2019s-$60k and NOT selling. Anything 2013-15 are already in the $30s.
No one in their right mind now is going to pony up $50k for a 200 no matter the year UNTIL the similarly priced 250 is out and real world mpg is reported pushing 33s.
Yeah- im pretty sure Toyota wouldnt give you too much for your 200 trade in. Supra values have been increasing for the past 10 years and the 200 is going to be going in the opposite direction especially with Toyotas new pricing structure putting serious downward pressure on the 200's frothy...
Toyota would probably say that given you can get out of a 2016+ Landcruiser for around $50k.....you probably should just step up to LC250 or GX550 vs throwing $5200 at the valley plate/cam tower and all other must-dos. 😂 Toyotas new pricing structure on the Landcruiser simply suggests...

Toyota is smart...given 99% of buyers of the 250 wont ever bang suspension on a rock and crack anything......the LC250 is likely overbuilt and as Landcruiser-ish as any old one. The 1%ers who will be banging it and cracking parts.......will probably be swapping on beefier Tundra or 200...
I swore id never get rid of these........ hands down the best setup for an 80 series. Progressive and plush and perfect for any uncut 80 series wanting to run 35s. I ran 37s and 39s with these with chopped fenderwells.
Whats included. v2 Springs front and rear. Bilsteins valved by...
These are the Alcoas and 35s that are currently on it....... from BaconBits. I also have an oem set of 80 rims with brand new Toyo 285/75-16s. Buyers choice. My druthers would be to keep the alcoas/35s.
smoking a tad. bubbles in the coolant overflow. but starts and idles well so i luckily caught it before anything occurred. I have no time to do a HG. I think i have a Toyota OEM gasket set for the job. And ARP head studs new. and possibly the witch hunter injectors- i also have an OEM...
im curious to see what the front to rear weight bias is. And overall weight. The lc250 with the added battery in the back will help and im guessing the lighter i4 motor up front vs the gx.
