That blue one looks pretty good to me, although i dealt with worse in the past. I would just drive the blue one as is. I bet it will start with very little effort. Also it looks original and not tampered with which is hard to find these days. If it was $6500 cdn i would be tempted.

If the engine is the issue bringing it to the USA....pull the engine and bring it down without the engine. Then bring down the engine and install it. You got your self a mighty fine Cruiser

PS: We have a 2-1/2 yr old that is still rear facing and her seat fits just fine behind my wife(if her seat is all the way forward)
@hatleye the suspension base seats were standard on the CDN BJ70. I grabbed these bases out of one of these trucks and installed them. There were factory holes/wejded in nuts for these seats to bolt to in my truck. As @AirheadNut has already explained, they are awesome! Especially on leaf sprung...
