    I’m struggling to find a fix for this. I’ve got a mess on my counter trying to replace the motor. The shaft from the original with the gear is a different diameter than the EBay replacement. 🙁😣😢

    Absolutely!!! It was easy to do in my driveway. Removing battery/box made a HUGE difference in access. I took off the rubber flaps in wheel well too. Zero play in steering is a joy:)

    I’ve searched and googled to no avail. I have an unused electrical plug right under the back seat drivers side next to the frame. Mine is a 97 40th original owner so I know nothing was added. OEM running boards replaced with sliders and there was no lights on OEM boards. Any help is appreciated.

    How good/bad would an 80 be for my Daily Driver?

    My 97’ has been my daily driver since 97’. Never cursed the gas mileage. I’ll never get anywhere in a hurry, but I assure you I WILL get there (anywhere). Walking up to my 80 pretty much every time even after 22 years, I smile .
