My '72 55 died on me while she was going down the road at 25 MPH. She just sort of choked out and died. Engine cranks but won't start up. Checked the points and rotor which are pretty new, and they look O.K. What should I look for next?
Thanks. But that still leaves with trying to get the window and regulator out of the way to get to the handle. I can't seam to figure out how to seperate the glass from the regulator, so that I can remove the regulator.
I'm fairly new to my 72 FJ55. Finally got her running and on the road. I would really like to use the rear tailgate, however the handle is shot. Am I screwed, or can I get it open from the inside? I looked at taking out the window regulator to try and open it from the inside but I can't...
