I went from OMEs to the Dob tapered coils and experienced no feeling of tippiness. In fact, the ride all around is a huge step up IMO, both loaded and unloaded, on road and offroad. I would buy again in a heartbeat. As for the shocks, my 0"-3" icon smooth body shocks were about 1.5"-2" too...
I thought I was in a jeep forum there for a minute...
Tech: My original OEM bushings lasted 20 years and ~265k...cruiser was stock during this timeframe. Put in OME CC bushings around the same time it was lifted and only lasted less than two years before I swapped out for OEM bushings and plates.
There is so much nope in that last photo. Is that a moccasin? Wouldn't it be advisable to hold it just behind the head? Clearly, I'm not a herpetologist...
I need to give it a try on my sony as well. I just keep forgetting every time i drive it...and since the weather has been so nice here the last couple of days, i've been driving other toys!
I was pretty careful with removing and storing while i replaced the trim. It had enough sticky on it to just stick back on. Been there for a couple of years now with no issues.
But in true ocd mud fashion, i would use the strongest two-part epoxy adhesive you can find after exhaustively...
Most importantly though, @crikeymike provided extended and compressed lengths. Too many variations in lifts and rigs these days to have any semblance of apples to apples. For example...I am running the Dobinson 2" tapered coils (sorta like the slinky coils) that require a longer than normal...
These look to come in longer lengths than the BP-51's do...which are too short for my application. Been waiting for these for a while now! Thanks for the info @crikeymike !
Ditto to what @LC4LIFE said. I've have both of your cup holders for years and is a clean/elegant solution to the problem. I'd have no problem painting my next order! Two comments...1)What might be helpful for folks and preclude a ton of questions, would be to have some sort of color chart for...
The link below is a good starting point on what to look for. Also the FAQs in the 80 section are very useful. My .02...you would be amazed at what these can do without lockers. Welcome to the addiction!

Up for sale is the 80 series Land Cruiser Products rock rails. These were designed for the non-hardcore off-roader who wants rocker protection, but doesn't want to spend the money or add the weight of a full rock slider. These were installed on my cruiser for about a year and I ran many hard...
Same experience here. I have an ipad mini 4, so a little less rotational weight. I have the two standard length ram arms and have zero complaints with over a thousand offroad miles on it. Highly recommended.
