I realize I’m a bit late to the party but here’s my March 79 I believe everything is stock with the exception of the toggle switch under the headlight switch. Hope it helps out somebody.
Didn’t originally see the spark tester in the second picture I only looked at the video and saw it briefly and then I saw the picture. thanks.:hillbilly::hmm::idea:
What’s up with the wire laying across the battery that appears to have a jumper wire to cylinder number two?
Have you tried putting a screwdriver in one spark plug wire and checking to make sure you’re getting any spark?
If you’re getting spark I would look at the timing issue as mentioned above.
I remove the coil wire and replace it with a dummy wire made out of a vacuum hose in the hopes that most people would just give up when it won’t start, the pros are going to get whatever they want the joy riders are going to give up and not notice anything wrong under the hood. Hopefully 🤔
A couple issues that I see, there are gaps between the shroud and radiator. If the fan is actually mounted to the shroud and not the radiator cooling air will be pulled around the radiator instead of through it. I agree with what someone else said about mounting an electric fan directly to...

Keep in mind I’m no expert but that’s just been my experience.
If you have an air compressor, put the nozzle against the inlet hose and have somebody listen next to the gas fill listen for bubbles .
Most pumps do not like to pull they would rather push, so if you have bone dry fuel lines it's going to be difficult to get fuel flowing.
If you do not have...
Are you certain that fuel is getting to the fuel pump inlet? I know you have gone through the tank and lines. disconnect inlet line/hose and pressurize the fuel tank slightly and make sure you don't have a blockage or leak(sucking air). Is there enough fuel to get to the pick up in the tank?
I...
