    Low Oil Pressure Gauge

I've watched it while driving, it doesn't seem to rise no matter the conditions (hill, speed, etc). I swear it used to sit just above half way at idle and move up under a load or at higher RPMs slightly. Thank you for the reference though- maybe I'm crazy and it's always been that way.

    Low Oil Pressure Gauge

I noticed my oil pressure gauge reading less than the 1/3 line the other day (97' 80 series). I have been watching it for a couple of days, and of course I checked the oil. It was low, I had to add 2 Qts to get it up to full. I thought that should solve the problem. No such luck. I have...

DC in the Front and STILL a vibration!!

I just looked at your diagram more carefully and your measurements can't be accurate. One Tcase flange can't be 92 when the other one is 82. They are parallel, so the angle will always be the same, but opposite sign. If one is 8 degrees down, the other one will be 8 degrees up. I think...

DC in the Front and STILL a vibration!!

just talked to a buddy, he said that the t-case doesn't sit level in the frame, anybody else agree or disagree? That would explain the front and rear differences at the t-case flanges And a Point of clarification: the drive shaft angles of 10* and 8* weren't measured relative to the...

DC in the Front and STILL a vibration!!

just a thought if the t-case had bad mounts or the cross member it sits on was bent in some way that would make the front and rear flanges of the t-case not parallel--could this be my problem. In Jan I was messing around climbing some big snow banks at my church and did come down pretty hard on...

DC in the Front and STILL a vibration!!

could my problem be the T-case is not sitting level or where it should be. Maybe a bushings it sits on are worn on one end or the support is bent?

DC in the Front and STILL a vibration!!

sorry about the confusion guys, I've attached a rudimentary diagram, I hope it helps to describe my earlier post. also to note: Drive line shop balanced new shaft out of phase or non-parallel. Got home and looked in factory service manual-factory spec is should be in phase or parallel--maybe...

    Supercharger, bigger injectors and Unichip

Okay, I'm not super smart at this stuff, but could it be air trapped in the coolant system and the elevation change causing some pressure changes not allowing adequate coolant circulation. You did mention you change the coolant not too long ago-- just my lame thoughts

DC in the Front and STILL a vibration!!

Todays testing and results: Crawled under again this morning, looking at stuff. Noted that the rear u-joint on the rear drive shaft had excessive play. Removed rear shaft and replaced rear u-joint (the front u-joint of that shaft I replaced in Dec). Drove the truck in front wheel...

DC in the Front and STILL a vibration!!

Thanks for the tips on how to take the angle, I'll give it a try today. My DC shaft overall lenght is 31.5 inches with the slip yolk riding out an 1.5 inches, at least that's what I had the shop make it at. I measured it when I picked it up and that's what it was. I'll measure in on the truck...

DC in the Front and STILL a vibration!!

Just read another thread about being in phase or out of phase, (https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/335464-front-drive-shaft-phase-out.html). This thread noted that the factory spec's have the front shaft out of phase. So I go look at the front DC shaft I just installed, it is "in phase", so...

DC in the Front and STILL a vibration!!

Just read a post called GRRRRRRR is gone (https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/73268-grrrrrrrrr-gone.html) He noted that his rear shaft was installed "out of Phase"-- I'm kind of a new to this drive line stuff, but when I picked up my new drive shaft with the DC I asked the guy how I would...

DC in the Front and STILL a vibration!!

what are you using to check the angles? I have a small level but I don't know what exactly I'm going to get from that, maybe I can track down a protractor, any other simpler ways to check
