Hello. I've done the project thing and I just don't have time for it. I know I'll pay more for a completed truck, but I'm ready to do that. What I really want is no to little rust, complete truck that I could drive while improving this and that a little at a time. I know, everyone wants this...
Sooner or later I will figure out that I just need to buy a completed truck. I just don’t go for these projects and don't have money I want to spend on someone doing it for me. I was planning on making one diesel 40 out of these 2 trucks and then selling the extra stuff.
I bought these from...
The ad says base for some reason but it's got all the goodies as best I can tell. They don't have a price listed. I'm not in the market, but I know these are sought after.

I'd offer to look at it but I'm...
The trim pieces around the window switches in my 2010 Tundra access cab are "wood". I like my interior except for these. They stick out like a sore thumb to me. I'm going to get a new set that hopefully matches the silver in the rest of the cab from the dealer. Or if anyone has a set they'd...
Picked up a 2010 Tundra for a daily. Is this a pretty active forum or is there a better choice out there? I know this is my favorite spot for Land Cruisers, but maybe there's a better spot for Tundras.
Thanks!
I don't know what kind of vehicle I'll be using yet (could just be a sedan, could be a pickup). So it may not be all that useful. But I'm taking a trip down to Fort Worth in late April. I'd be willing to take some stuff down with me and back up within reason.
Anyone had experience with this outfit? I did a search on mud and didn't see any glaring issues. It almost seems too good to be true since they only want 75 per wheel and Toyota quoted me 500+.
Long shot. Looking for 5 of these discontinued wheels.

One of these days I'll find something that works.
I have 4 FJ Cruiser wheels for sale. The picture shows them with Nokian Rotiiva 285/70r17 AT tires which would be extra. I have a set with some old tires that don't have a ton of tread left on them if you'd prefer that. $450.
Bit of a long shot, but in case anyone has a LOT of extra room and is heading this direction. I'm looking at shipping costs right now, but it will be a challenge I'm sure.
Since I don't want to spend 1300 bucks on 5 wheels if I can help it (16" Wheels / Rims for Land Cruiser FJ40 FJ45 FJ55 FJ60 70 Series) I've continued my search.
I like the look of the Jaos Victron that looks a lot like 100 series steel wheel. They are even pricier and I'm having trouble...
Looking to see what's out there for an FJ40 frame. The truck I'm putting together is a 74 as far as body panels go. Close to Lincoln, NE would obviously make this easier. A roller would be easier too, but I really only need the frame.
Search seems busted right now due to the upgrade.
Is there a good centralized source of the differences between years of the FJ40. I know there are probably hundreds, but maybe one that hits the main points like ambulance doors, power steering, etc.
I'm doing a bunch of research before diving in. Hoping to do a frame off resto-mod. The truck I have isn't original enough to go full resto plus I'm probably going to put a 2b diesel in it from another truck I have on hand.
Anyway, I'm looking for recommendations in the Lincoln/Omaha area...
Anyone have any experience with these? Expensive...

It seems the tire profile I want is impossible in a 15 inch rim, so...
My search didn't come up with what I'm looking for. Since this would be for my 40, I'm putting the question here.
I have a chance to buy a old Chevy on the cheap. Motor not running, but I'm after the trans and/or tcase. Is there a data plate in the Chevys that will tell me what trans is in...
Hi,
Starting this thread now as it will take months if not years to find something at a reasonable price close enough to me to make sense.
Looking for fully locked axles that will work under a 40. Early 70 series will do the job. Not sure what else works, doing my research now. Would...

It's local but I'm sure way out of my price range. My question: were the fold down seats and rear heater "rare" in the earlier 40s? I know they've been in pretty much all the 40s I've looked at. The seats for sure.
