Not meaning to highjack thread, but considering that it is a few years old and I do see some similar issues, hopefully someone can help. I'm new to the 60 so please bear with the newbie questions!

Wow, I see this thread is a bit old, but hoping it will get some attention:
I just bought my 60 and just took it out of the shop after some much needed mechanical TLC. As background, the first thing the mechanic noted was that the battery was almost dry when we opened the chambers. As I was...

AFAIK, there should be marks to align them, as on most vehicles. Your FSM should tell you more, as I don't remember it off the top of my head.
Just as a followup, after my last post the pinging continued, and after more trials unsatisfactory results I decided to do a cylinder head rebuild...
As soon as the photo upload functionality is back to normal I'll post photos of my weld+reinforcement. My mechanic told me it has to be a mig weld otherwise the frame gets too much thermal stress, or something like that, (clearly I'm no engineer!).
Hi guys,
I just discovered similar issues on my LX450 after a LONG hit and miss sequence of changing the shocks and springs due to some weird swaying at 45-50 mph. Since addressing these issues seemed to improve very little, then I started looking at the steering components in case they were...

Hi Pnolan,
Did you ever get your sender unit issue resolved? I'm tempted to order a new sending unit since my low fuel light never comes on and besides, the needle never goes up to full. Any comments please,
Thanks and best regards,
Hi guys,
Thanks for reviving this old thread. Yes I did, although I will admit that I would NOT recommend it to anyone. I do have my one of a kind LX450 , but it took much longer than expected and it ended up costing much more than anticipated, and bear in mind that I do live in South America...
Anybody home?
Is this guy even alive? I wrote hime more than a month ago and have never seen a reply on this forum or gotten a private message. Have you all gotten any replies?

Hi again guys,
Excuse me for the belated reply, but in the midst of having this work done I also had my cylinder head removed for a complete overhaul, and UNFORTUNATELY the mechanic saw that there was considerable wear on the cylinders and recommended that I rebuild the engine while I was at...
Thanks!
Hi Delancy,
Thanks for your quick reply. For the clicking sound is it strictly necessary to change ALL components you listed or only the birfields themselves? Thanks in advance,
Tuesday morning bump...
If possible, someone please chime in with PN for the birfs for a 1997 LX450. I am looking at the microfiche and there is a PN for ABS and one for locking center diff (but it also mentions PTO??)
