    Thanks, the black panel was an aluminum panel I cut to follow the curves of the dash. I was taking about the ribs that are in the early cruiser dashboards... Those are the little details I love about old cars.

    I just found this thread and got caught up. Great project. Keep up the good work. I always loved the ribs of the early dash. You could have a shop beadroll a small panel and weld it in before it gets body worked... Huge style points

    Thanks Steve. I just got caught up on your Ugly Duckling project. The frame is making me drool. So nice. I did pick up another project... 88 4Runner... same year/model as my first Toyota! Got a nice, clean SR5, unmolested except a stereo and alarm. No build thread yet... eventually.

    I ended up ordering a bunch from that guy. Wasn't cheap, took awhile for overseas shipping. Thought I'd put them on eBay so they'd be available in the US, but got lazy, so they're sitting on a shelf still. If you need em, send me a private message or email..... update.... they're all sold...
