Fyi for everyone interested....
Im in the middle of moving and all my tools are in storage. Finding a house has been a much greater challenge than I thought. Until then im shut down unfortunately.
Thx
I’ve taken a break from fruitlessly trying to log in and post all of this on 4bt swaps but if someone could take this info and post it up there In the Isuzu 4bd1/2t forum I would apreciate it.......Dougal?
Guy is a wealth of information but he’s busy and doesn’t have time for tons of questions but can be reached here if you want to order.

Some part numbers.
Picked this up from an awesome fella named Ray. He spends most of his time producing an overdrive unit for Land Rover transmission but in his spare time he made this.
On the surface that tranny engine combo looks like an interesting deal. I'd ask for a cold start video showing oil pressure too but you don't find something put together like that for sale often. I dont think the nv3500 is worth much. But if it's adaptor worked with the nv4500 it would be worth it.
That is so good to hear. So the throttle plate. Looks like a throttle body has two plastic bushings that the shaft rides on. Under boost it can leak basically robbing air pressure from the engine. Very annoying but not any worse than that. If you can ever find a way to rebuild the bushing I’d be...
I’ve never had a pump rebuilt. I’ve always been content with the stock pumps ability. If your considering high power for the engine I would strongly suggest an intercooler and retarding your timing.
So the bearing housing I believe has to be within 15 degrees of verticle but the drain itself has to do just with resistance of flow causing pooling in the bearing housing and oil migration through the seals on the compressor and turbine side. I have no way of telling if a drain will cause it to...
I have tried to make adaptors like your CAD drawing nick but ran into oil drain issues if I remember correctly. Making custom oil drains became a somewhat involved and expensive rabit hole and I gave up. That style adaptor is easy. How it alters the relationship of the other components is...
You've done some nice nesting! Great choice of turbo too. I think it will be a very good match. Clocking the housings are pretty easy just be sure to always remove the dowel pins. Lots of damage if you don't. Nice work with that oil drain. Pretty tight there. Looking forward to seeing some info...
Just because it’s damaged doesn’t mean it’s a problem. If your injector shows no damage I would be hesitant to alter it too much. Taking down the proud spots would be a good idea but not sure if that would be easy to do In a uniform way. I’d rather have proud areas to imbed into a soft washer as...
I dunno man. That isn't cheap enough to take a chance on all things considered. I've been down the Chinese 3B head rabbit hole before. Spent countless hours finding vendors tons of emails and checking valve sizes only to be let down. My buddy got burned purchasing one that was suppose to be a...
Before swapping your engine out I'd try unfreezing your rings in the dead cylinders. Might save you a ton of work. I had an engine in the garage that sat and had zero compression in one cylinder. A gallon of metal rescue and a can of carbon cleaner later and it was running on all cylinders...
