    * Urgent * AHC Front leveling control valve testing

If I had the time I would find it, mostly to find the other 4 wires that will probably be close to failing... I ran a 5 conductor cable in case the others fail (common and 4 solenoid signals) I defiantly feel better now knowing the system wiring! I will be ordering a tech stream cable so I can...

    * Urgent * AHC Front leveling control valve testing

Got it... Black yellow wire was broken between BI1 and the levelling valve bank. there is another connector to test between BI1 and the valve bank but it looks to be near impossible to get at between the frame and the boat above the suspension brackets. I cut the wire coming out of each...

    * Urgent * AHC Front leveling control valve testing

Uodate, I have tested the control valve connector from the common terminal to each of the 4 solenoid pins on the control valve itself. 3.5 ohms on each, leads me to believe all solenoids are OK. when I meter back towards the ECU from the connector I get 45kohm on each from common except one...

    * Urgent * AHC Front leveling control valve testing

Good evening, I write this while covered in gravel, mud and road grime. I have pulled every hair out off my head and every connector apart that I can find including BI1 BI2 BI3, found 2 very lightly corroded connections on accumulator wiring but not my issue. I replaced the pressure...

    LX470 AHC issues - pressure sensor 1998 Vs. 2002

Reviving my AHC thread. Finally was able to find a pressure sensor online for a reasonable amount when I had the money, ordered and installed to no avail. I will be digging further into this issue this weekend. Is anyone able to provide EWD for a 2002 lx along with excerpts from the FSM for...

    AHC done?

Ditto on the excellent thread. I just replaced my pressure sensor myself on my 02 lx470 at recommendation of local Toyota dealership after confirming the 3 codes I already pulled. Rule of thumb here is never trust the dealership. 750 quoted from dealership (for the part alone), paid 330...

    LX470 AHC issues - pressure sensor 1998 Vs. 2002

Can you link a reputable source for the cable and software? is the software free and you just need to pay for the cable or is it a kit? I just ordered a new sensor from Partsouq hope to see it within a couple weeks. $320 bucks with shipping in our worthless CAD.

    LX470 AHC issues - pressure sensor 1998 Vs. 2002

I replaced the sensor with the 98 one. hooked it up per the pinout and the AHC lights would not illuminate at all. I reversed pin 1 and 3 as those are the only one that could be screwed up and I had the same problem as before. There is no way to get the pump to run when it is in fail safe...

Last question, how does one clear the codes from the AHC ECU?

    LX470 AHC issues - pressure sensor 1998 Vs. 2002

Damn you're good. I was getting .5v on the pin 2 and 3 when running without the jumper installed on the diagnostics plug with or without pressing the raise button... Im going to try changing the sensor with the users 98 sensor and make a quick harness adapter for it for testing... Any...

    LX470 AHC issues - pressure sensor 1998 Vs. 2002

Nice find on the pressure sensor. I have always been hesitant to purchase parts from overseas and from sites I am not familiar with however would be happy to with a referral like this. I will buy a new one if I can confirm the sensor is shot, just didn't want to spend big bucks throwing parts...

    '94 heater core R/R - done

Boys and girls... the drip has started and I don't know where to getc a heater core from for my 94. Toyota Canada doesn't have one and if they did it's over 900 bucks... 4wheel auto in edmonton can't get one either. Any of our friends down south have access to one or want to sell me one? I...

3B should it stay or should it go

Well I put my turbo kit together for around 700bucks. Best thing I ever did to my 3b. It has475000km on it and it sees 21 psi steady. Towed a 2 place sled trailer the other day with 2 skidoo summits on it pretty well. I would not worry about the reliability of this engine pre or post turbo.

    Replacing the clutch in a 3B w/ h55

I don't know how the rear main is installed on the b but if it's like most engines (pressed in) I would replace it while everything's off. Just makes sense as you don't want to pull the tranny off again if it starts leaking after. Just my .02 though

    '88 FJ62 6BT swap

Suprisingly excellent. Stock gears and 35's are turned easily up to 90mph. I am running 20 psi and 2 turns on the fuel screw. Took it 4x4ing on thanksgiving weekend with a welded diff and it spun the tires like crazy. Truck is so much better on and off road.
