Assembled the front axle and I'm having the same problem still. I noticed some very slight play on the right axle shaft before assembly but I doubt that's the cause of all the rotation I still have in the front drive shaft. The guys at marlin say that LC transfer cases usually don't go bad but...

Finally for around to taking out the diff and I'd like to know if someone has some time to look at it and double check for damage, I don't see anything wrong with it but I'm not sure if I'm looking at all the right parts. And if anyone has a creeper they can spare for cheap then I'd gladly take...
I have a 95 tacoma 2.7L and its having the same problem. I already replaced the fuel filter and even did the seafoam before that and it's still having the same problem. Next I will be cleaning the idle air control valve once I get the new gasket in the mail. It seems like it only shuts down when...
The work on the 80 has slowed down since I just got a 95 tacoma and I've been trouble shooting some bugs on that since its my daily driver now.
I just drained the diff fluid on the 80 and it came out thick and dirty. Tomorrow ill try to get it out
Took out the axle shafts earlier and the inner splines look intact, gotta make a trip to Home Depot to finish taking out the diff tomorrow. I'll post pics later
That link is tempting, do you guys have experience doing the whole set up with the lockers and compressor? Looking online it looks like a decent deal also.
Been in and out of town lately, I'm leaving again tomorrow but I'm planning on getting together with Diskord this Saturday to have some more eyes on it. Thanks to you guys for the input so far
