    Has B & B changed their hours? I thought 7pm was "closing time" on Tuesdays, and therefore we had the place to ourselves that evening.

    Heads Up!!!! Texas Creek is temporarily CLOSED due to Colo DOT maintenance on the bridge from Hwy 50 across the Arkansas River (Fremont County Rd 27) into Texas Creek OHV area. I saw this info on a post by a motorcycle/dirt bike club.

    We've had 10-12 rigs on this run in the past...should not be a problem. It does require some additional foresight for pull-offs, parking, and such. Keep a good interval between rigs (on the road and on the trail). Some years ago, we had 17 rigs on a trail ride, so we broke it down to two groups.

    Christmas Tree Cutting Support 2023

    I've always understood that the tree-cutting is permitted in the area every day from start date to end date; The Ranger District invites us to volunteer on weekends because that is the "high volume" period, but cutting in the designated area with a valid tag is open on weekdays, too.
