pull the starter and clean the copper dust off the plunger and out of that chamber(ref to fsm for a diagram). this is the best solution until you can replace the contacts. ive had to do this on both the toyota original and a mean green starter. it can be done in couple hours unless you have ocd.
i purchased this harness when Christo first started selling it a few years back. the contacts in the bulb connectors bend out of shape easily causing connection issues. while the lighting is brighter, i've been through quite a few bulbs because of weak connection causing one side flickering off...

nice build. might want to re-index your pos battery leads. you dont want to short them to the hold-down bracket. those optima batteries are great but they are a little bit smaller than stock battery, making them more prone to slide side-to-side. mine slides around some because of damage to...
i have the same ones. five tire rotation, over 90k miles on the set so far. i should be able to get at least 10k more no problem. im not saying they will all last that long, but thats how many ive gotten on mine.
6000 lbs / 5miles / and a 10% grade dont add up well. if you see road signs telling big trucks to shift to a lower gear or pull over to check brakes, its to prevent stuff like this from happening. imagine a 65000 lb truck in that situation...
definitely get the rotors checked to make sure...
