While the coil over conversion was pricey, I think it’s worth the benefits. I debated the SAS swap, but because of the limited up travel because of the 100 series frame design I decided that this was the best compromise. If you want a straight axle up front buy an 80 and put an LS in it.
Better than it did with the torsion bars. However, you lose the front sway bar as the bump stops take up the space where it attached. Slightly more droop but being as the shock is your limiter it’s negligible.
A company called Killer Off Road produced these LCA’s about 4 years ago. Not a long travel kit, but gets rid of the notorious torsion bars. I’m pretty sure they only made 10-12 pairs and stopped because there just wasn’t enough demand. The arms look very similar to Total Chaos’s. I’m sure that...
Ben's Dissent rack has a mount that bolts to your tent and straddles the rack so that you can reach the bolts. You only need one as the front can be accessed through the sunroof opening.
You’re gonna notice when you try to put the interior plastic back on that it needs to be trimmed in quite a few places to fit around the metal ring that you glue in place.
In the years I’ve had the switches here, not once have I bumped them accidentally. There is a metal structure that needs to be trimmed to put all three in.
Not at all. Ben sells the rack mount. I used just the one at the rear and was able to attach the front mounts through the sunroof opening. You will want to space the front approximately 1 inch to match the rear
