my original lasted 6 years of abuse from winching with motor off due to being under water etc. I heard you cannot buy the Panasonic as they only sell to manufacturers. And the cost is like $750 if you could.

installed! before and after. soldered and heat shrunk tubing. good product! I used red 15 amp fused lead to power the in cab triggering switches and their indicator lights.
i live in the hottest part of Florida, 3 hours from any coast. and its is super hot here over 98 for 4 months usually. and many days 100 plus and 100% humidity. i have learned over the years batterys dont last in the heat. lucky to get 3 years on a good one.

thanks my goal for this build was just that. to look factory to the average person, but trick to FJ folks. And still be a pretty capable trail rig. next a winch and some add lights and she is done.
Just Differentials is a good Company to work with as said above. I have also bought a few sets from Randy's and when i snapped a Dana 70 pinion in half he replaced it ASAP no questions.
i saw this happen. i too wonder why you think you need to chg t case bearings? i dont see the need. I would first go to local salvage yard and get a price on a whole take out rear end. it maybe alot cheaper, and doesnt matter if they have a FJ sitting there all the salvage yards are linked up...

pics out of order but installed on friday drove 150 miles to Hardrock Saturday, wheeled all day and drove home. Rides awesome both at 80 on highway and in the dirt and hills. great guys at Overland also.!
