Ordered booster from Rock Auto and it showed up with three ports on it. Anyone else have this version show up before? I'm leaning toward sending it back.
Anyone have a bead roller or know of a shop that has one? Preferable south or east side. I have a crossover coolant tube that I’m cutting down and want to add back on a bead for good hose fitment. I’m sure a machine shop will have one and will call in the morning.
I need a 60 series radiator to test fit in my 75 build. The 70 series rad is a bit tall and hits the crossmember on the 80.
I would like a crappy bunk radiator to borrow so there is no worries of damage.
Preferable on the south side of town.
The bench seat from my mine truck needs lots of love. Depending on price I would like to save it. It would need new foam and fabric. Anyone know a shop they have used before that’s worth recommending?
I have the diff lock housing but can't find any info on exactly how to mount it. Before I start drilling a hole I would like some input on retrofitting into the exact factory location for LH dash. Thanks
Are cats worth anything anymore? I took a load of scrap to CMC Recycling this morning but they said they consider them scrap so I didn't throw them off the truck.
Does anyone know if the H4 switch works the same as the 80 series center diff lock switch or 80 series hazard switch? Can’t find a schematic for the H4 switch. I would like to use it to control the CDL motor on HF2A if possible.
Developed a knock this morning on my way to Chicago. It’s above 2k RPM under load. Once it warmed up I can’t make it happen revving it at a stop.
Oil temp and pressure show good and runs fine other than the knock.
I’m about an hour from Memphis and was planning to stop and investigate again...
Grand opening sale today. Main thing is 50% off napa filters, at least for me. Also if you have the mailer it has a $50 off on $100 purchase. Good thing to use to get those reman calipers if needed.
I mainly stocked up on filters and fluids.
They also have a bunch of hoopla in the parking lot...
New project for this year and it’s going to be an interesting one. Here’s what I’m going for.
BODY - 1998 75 series cab from an ex Canadian mine truck.
BED - Some sort of Ute type flat bed
CHASSIS - 1996 80 series with factory lockers. Finally get to put my LX parts rig to good use.

Question for smarter people.
Yesterday I did a valve lap adjustment on my BJ40, B engine. They were adjusted while the engine was hot using the correct "hot" adjustment. Afterwards it seems I have a bit more RPM range but maybe its only in my head.
I am wondering what the typical things one...
I have two intake tubes and two MAF sensors. No cracks that I can see. These have been sitting in my garage for over 5 years.
MAF sensors $50 each shipped CONUS.
Intake tubes $35 each shipped CONUS.
Since most everyone in North America is well below average temps right now I thought it would be good for people to post up videos of their diesels starting in cold weather. May help a few see what normal or bad is. Mid twenties here this morning in Austin and it doesn't get much lower than...
I’m in the market for a new tool chest finally! I’ve been saving up Home Depot gift cards and with the cash I’m willing to spend I’m in the $700-$800 range. Last year my Home Depot was fire selling most of them after the holidays.
I’ve been eye balling the following and the Husky equivalent...
Can a 3B IP work on a B engine? My IP on my B is leaking and and I have a 3B w/ in-line pump sitting in the garage that will eventually replace the B when it’s time. I would rather spend the money to rebuild the pump from the 3B if possible. If not interchangeable I’ll rebuild the B IP as I am...

Heading home after work I notice a Land Cruiser guy helping a Jeeper lady change a tire. As I moved past I realized it was @meatloaf in his new 100. Way to go Luis for helping out and nice looking cruiser.
