Years ago when I had a couple 7.3’s I used C&C diesel in Bennington and was pretty happy with them. My dad used to take his Duramax there as well. Another friend of mine has had all of his work done at Husker diesel and he seems to be pleased with that shop. I know that’s not much to go on...
I’m dealing with the extremely cold temps in the Midwest lately and I think my voltage dial is sticking due to cold. I think our low was -11 yesterday. Has anyone had this issue? The vehicle starts fine but the dial stays below zero. Then after I drive and warm up the cab, the needle eventually...
Anyone tackle this job yet? It’s a pretty slow leak. There’s nothing on the driveway yet, the skid plate is catching the drips and the dipstick didn’t really show a loss between changes. I’m probably gonna try and do it myself but not until summer.
Not able to get away much and my 80 is pretty much stock, but I hope to change all that eventually. I’d be interested in going to a Mahoney meet up sometime to see all your cool rigs tho.

I’ve got a 80 series hood I’d like to get rid of. It has some dings in the paint and some dents. I think the previous owner tried to push one dent out. Not perfect, but not terrible either. $50
Looking at crossbar options for a 460. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions. I’m not expecting to put too much weight up there. Maybe a luggage bag and fishing rod tubes.
Thanks,

Greetings, to you 150 folks. We got the wife a 2011 GX yesterday. Drives like a dream, especially compared to Hyundai mini van we traded in. I’m looking forward to learning about our “new” rig. I had to take a picture parked next to the 80.
I got it apart last night. The splines on the shaft were a little chewed up. The birf seems to be fine. I ended up just suspending it vertically in the vise and beat the star. At this point I was either gonna break the star or the clip. Glad the clip broke. Thanks for the insight.
