New turbo and the gears started working just fine - it was in 'limp mode' as stu called it.
We're shipping our car from Mauritania to Haiti in a few weeks from now, too.

Next mechanic says that the turbo is bad - needs a new one.
But would this explain why it was not shifting in D(rive)? I could get to 1 and 2 and not 3rd.
