i love this 60 because of all the long nights i spent working on it after work. hell, there were numerous times when the sun was coming up and i still kept working on it. it's as if it gave me strength to continue non-stop. pretty awesome feeling.
hey sandcruiser, have you ever had trouble with your rear locker leaking air. mine does once in a while. the o-ring seals aren't but a couple months old.
i drilled a hole in the 3rd member (on top of course). then i threaded the hole and installed fittings that came with my ARB. are yours new air lockers? if so they should come with all hardware.
if you have the same bigass crank pulley that i have, hell, you can turn it by hand. unless you have girly hands. and yes, the plugs have to be out. oh, and so do your accessory belts.
yeah, arb's are great. i broke 2 rear detroits and couldn't steer worth a s*** with lockrite in front. now there's an arb in front and back. saves your tires also. you can do quite a bit of wheelin' without being locked. nice to know you can lock with a push of a button.
i ran into the same problem when i installed my 5 speed. all i did was weld 2 pinion flanges together and that gave me about 4''. i don't have any vibrating problems either.
