    ARB Wire Connector

What is the name of the wire connector ARB uses on their turn signals? I think Slee uses them on their headlight harness as well. But for the life of me I can't find them.

Harrop E-Locker using OEM Switch and Dash Lights in a HDJ81 / FJ80

I did this. You can get the female plug to plug into your dash harness that already exists. Then put some lamps in the dash. I will take some pics, I don't think I saved the wire to I was developing.

315X75r16 .... why is everything load range E?!

Agree. Be cognizant of your vehicles weight, and how it is distributed. Buy the load range you need. Adjust pressures to suit weight capacity, traction, tread ware, and comfort. That's my order of preference. I run E rated tires at 32 front/32 rear on a 6000# (50/50) 80 series. I could...

I need some help on my FJ80 wheel caps

No. They discolor from the heat of your brakes. Had a set of eBay Lexus for a year now. Doesn't really bother me. But they will discolor. I will snap a pic tomorrow.

    RTH (pre-catastrophic) Instrument Cluster Micro-Surgery

Try disassembling the old odometer. See if you can get at, and turn the numbers. Let me be clear on this part... I don't know the legalities of doing this in Egypt. So try it on the old one and see how it goes. You could disconnect the driveshaft and let it idle, without the driveshaft it...

    RTH (pre-catastrophic) Instrument Cluster Micro-Surgery

Inside the T-Case, good to know. I had to learn all this when I replaced my 80 oil pressure gauge a couple years ago, and readjust the tach on my wife's 4Runner swap. Thanks for your pictures and posts.

    RTH (pre-catastrophic) Instrument Cluster Micro-Surgery

Well, golly, thanks for that insight. I guess it's time for this thread to get useless. I'm relatively sure that any country that issues license plates has a DMV. They may not call it a DMV, but it looks like Egypt does. And they get the same reviews my local DMV gets. Dokki DMV ادارة...

    RTH (pre-catastrophic) Instrument Cluster Micro-Surgery

Where was this Speedometer Sensor Key? I dont know if you can reset it. Every vehicle title I have ever seen has a check box that says Odometer Replaced or Outside of Mechanical Limits or some such to document the mileage shown is not the actual. If you're worried about resale or...

    RTH (pre-catastrophic) Instrument Cluster Micro-Surgery

Sorry that should read... To set the RPMs to zero... Plug in the dash, turn the key to ON, but don't start it. Take the needle off. Put the needle on at the 0. Remove the cluster again and reassemble or finish what you were doing. For the speedo, are you getting signal from the ECU? The speed...

    RTH (pre-catastrophic) Instrument Cluster Micro-Surgery

Needles pull off, be firm, but gentle. You could try a plastic interior trim tool from your local parts store. Pry the hub, not the needle. Black screws release the gauge face from the mechanism behind. The gauge mechanism is released from the housing by a couple screws in the back. Damp...

When idling in high heat over 5 minutes, coolant temp gets over 212. Suggestions other than new rad

Yes the compressor still runs causing the same strain on the motor, but you are pulling some additional heat off the cooling system as well. As someone mentioned the AC will shutoff at 226*. And as long as you keep the vent air blowing a little cooler than body temp you and the children should...
