Hi I am normally in the 40 section but with a family of 5 now with 2 under 3 ihave convinced the wife we need a FZJ80. Now how much should be going rate for a average not beat down but not a special edition or anything just something to carry the family wherever we want to go nothing crazy...
I just put some 4 inch rough country springs in the rear of my '72 and I flipped the springs 180 degrees my question is what did you guys use for shims, to rotate the pinion back up. I bought my springs used so there were no shims to begin with. any help is appriciated
I have a FJ-40 and looking at swapping frames and axles from either a 60,62 or 80 series. Just trying to find out differences. I would like to have the coils and wider axles of an 80. I know I could find an FJ-80 cheaper than FZJ-80. Still just looking at options at this point
is there any difference between FJ-80 and FZJ-80 axles besides the factory lockers?
I know they have different engines but was curious about the axles. Thanks in advance
I would've kept the patina on mine but the rust was to bad. I guess after pushing a snowplow in Colorado for 32 years I knew there was no saving it. I say keep the patina it doesn't hurt when it gets scratched. By the way nice job on the build.
