Nice try, but you've got it backwards, the driveshaft will spin at half the speed with one tire jacked up.
Look at the original post, he spun the tire 5 times, the driveshaft rotated 11.4 times. Divide 11.4 by 5 = 2.28 x 2 = 4.56.
Yes you have 4.56 gears!
I'm looking to convert from manual to power steering on a 85 Toy
PU 4x4. Have the steering box, need all other components.
Pump, bracket, res, hoses, crank pulley, anything else?
OK, the frame looks good. How about the V6 engine, do they
last as long as the 22Rs? This one has a tick to it, not sure
if it's in the valve train or could be a rod?
I'm looking at an 88 4x4 Toy PU I may buy. It has the V6 engine.
I don't know much about them. What do I need to look for, any
problems with these engines? It has 180,000 miles on it.
Thanks,
Rob
Just found this forum. I have a 1960 FJ25. Went over to the dark side
(Chevy engine & drive train). Have a few good parts I'll part with to
help someone doing a restoration.
