@baktasht has a small rust hole in the floor board where the rear heater had leaked for a few years. rockers are solid.. hatch was replaced for obvious reasons. Besides that no rust on the frame or body. Pm me if you have any other questions

Over 2,000 miles of seat time after replacing tons of parts.. rebuilt engine/trans/tcase, all new suspension bushings and shocks/oem springs, pads/rotors and oem calipers, front end etc.. Still needs a full exhaust replacement but for all its worth almost drives like a new rig!
Yes it can be done, yes you can keep your flares! Stock suspension and true 35s went thru the same washout all the Tacoma's did.. daily driving was no issue at all.
Grab a hammer and screw driver, poke around for rot. If everything is solid and the body is good I say go for it! We need more info, to start mileage and asking price.. got a good amount of work ahead of you (ask me how I know).
