97 FZJ80 TCase CDL Stuck engaged after lower gears and part-time kit installed

That's great news. Have fun on your trip! If you have a need next time, you should be able to drop the tcase cross member and support with a floor jack enough to get access to the actuator.

97 FZJ80 TCase CDL Stuck engaged after lower gears and part-time kit installed

You need to properly time the CDL and gear on top of the transfer case. Take the CDL actuator off, leave it plugged in and unlock it. On the inside where the gear sits, you'll be able to spin it so it will be in the unlocked position.

    Best Year LX570 to mod

I am not aware of anybody that has deleted AHC from a 16+ LX. The 16+ LX are very difficult to install a roof rack properly since the holes are captured from the bottom and require removing the headliner to install properly.

    Method 705

Talked with Method direct, and they had a bad batch of wheels go out that did not have the hubs bored properly. They're sending me another set soon.

    Method 705

Update for you - we went to mount the 705s on the LX570 and the bore diameter is too small so it won't fit on the hub. Threw some Icon wheels on for now.

Looking for recommendations on Suspension setup that won't beat us up.

We do a ton of these builds and I have driven a lot of 200s with different suspension. My top choice for OEM ride quality while eliminating the nose dive when braking is BP51s or Kings. Any suspension that you install will need to be setup properly with the correct preload in the front...

    Method 705

Thanks partner, just got my LX570 back so we'll be working on the rig pretty soon. I am going to experiment with an AHC lift before installing an interim BP51 lift and eventually a Tundra long travel setup on the LX. I'll post up pictures as soon as I get everything mounted.

    Method 705

I'm mounting these up to my LX570 in about a week on some 315/70/17. I got the aggressive +0 offsets though, so I may not be much help.

    BP-51 questions

We reported this issue to ARB a couple of years ago. Only one of the locating washers should be used to place the shock in the frame. We have ground down the locating portion of one of the washers to give it enough gap in between the frame and shock bushings so it can be properly cinched down...

    Stellarbuilt 200 on 37s

I wonder if the alignment with pushing caster forward would give enough room to clear the CV from the lower King Shock mount. The 3.0s on my Tundra are very close to the CV, but the RCVs are much larger than stock CVs.

    200 Series 'Noise' HELP!

I bet it's the rotor and backing plate making contact intermittently. Also could be the rear ebrake shoes riding on the inner rotor if the springs or clips popped off. Best to recreate the issue and start figuring out what corner the noise is coming from.

    Deleted KDSS system Pros/Cons?

The KDSS bar is on the front of the rear axle, but I can't really tell if it's there. What I can tell is that this car is rusty, and be prepared with the headaches that come with a rust vehicle.
