    2008 Elections: nominations here!

Hi Ken, No worries. Totally understand where you are coming from. Before I get into the "About Me" I want to explain something.. At this point, after reading this thread and seeing Jeff's and Justin's devotion to run for President and to not muddy those waters; I would like to withdraw...

    2008 Elections: nominations here!

I agree, nice job Jeff, if we have someone capable and willing ( and Nick has done an excellent job and is more than qualified professionally) we should focus on getting someone in at the Secretary' position and a new Web Master. My thought was to bring a young web master up from the club...

    2008 Elections: nominations here!

No worries and totally agree with you Matt. Most of our chapters have web sites and would be a great opportunity one of their web masters to take the roll.

    2008 Elections: nominations here!

Hi Tony and thank you for the kind words. I have no problem turning over the webmaster's position to volunteer as President especially if there was a precedence already set (before my time) and do not want to create a percieved conflict of interest by any means.

    2008 Elections: nominations here!

Thanks Nick, I would like to remain at the helm of the website so we do not have to go thru a another transition period for a while and to carry the momentum built so far. IMO, that would be what's best for the TLCA right now. Thank you Todd..

    2008 Elections: nominations here!

I would like to throw my hat in the ring to run for TLCA President. I want to move us forward as an organization using my business vision and work ethic learned and earned from 17 years as an entrepreneur. I have worked for myself most of my adult life and work without a net so to speak. I...

Todd, edit to add: my thought was to make a mention with a URL in the Trail Leader article thus eliminating the need to create extra space in TT

    A proposal for the TLCA

I've ran some for clients that have had a return rate from 1 in 10 to what your seeing in print response. On average (from my experiences) it's been around 1 and 35 users. But, that's users that see the survey online. I've not had a lot of experience with online survey's posted in...

    A proposal for the TLCA

We have the ability to easily do this now. A wicked survey tool at our disposal. We should work on generating about 10 questions for it and see about getting it into an issue of Trails (hyperlink only) It's an online survey.

    A proposal for the TLCA

I think the TLCA and the chapters do a great job of offering something for our wheeling members and we can see that by how vocal they are in general. As the club moves forward, we need to offer something that caters to the 3K or so that don't wheel much but use their Toyotas for hauling the...

    TLCA Event suggestion

I am currently gathering information based on a proposal I pitched to the BOD for this exact type of an event. Your timing on starting this thread is spot on and glad to see the topic for an "alterna" event was suggested. I'm traveling to the proposed location to talk to people face-to-face...

    A proposal for the TLCA

I’ve been thinking quite a bit about the future of the TLCA and agree with Romer’s thoughts in many ways. The TLCA does not need to outshine its chapters; it should support the chapters and be used as a medium for attracting new members to the association. Land Use is a huge issue for...
