1998 HZJ75 diesel, 1HZ w/ H55F 5spd, factory Toyota axles w/ 4 wheel disc brakes... $7,000, we're located in Western Colorado, 1 hr south of Grand Junction.
The pic shows (3) HZJ75's... the one on the left is up for grabs. Be the lucky one to purchase this rare truck and either take it...
Just stopped by Proffitt's Cruisers and he mentioned he has Steerable ROCKWELL's for sale. $1000/ea... comes with disc brake bracket kit.
According to the Military fella, these ROCKWELL's were rebuilt and used during Operation Desert Storm. They appear to be in great condition.
Call...
Not as much as one might think. It's always cheaper to have Proffitt's build the right the first time, than to build it over time. Even the big rigs with all the bling cost less than building and changing the rig several times until you're happy. Most of the extreme rigs coming out of Proffitt's...
...Thank You
WHAT??? I damage half my rig, and you WALK it? Alright, the "boxing mits" are now back on!:flipoff2:
Really though, thanks for all of your posts. We would like to take you to dinner, or better yet, I would love to eat more of your camp made goodies... I'm starting to look...
How bout' another video clip?
Hey Jack,
I don't want to be to terribly selfish, but could you post one more clip? ...from Backdoor. The next obstacle after the waterfall (just after I taco'd my rockslide, before I throttle it up, Crazy Tom says, "Now Git It!" then...braaaaap! I'd love...
The Biggn's... w/rockwells
A pretty good comparison of the size difference between my little 44's & the others running 49's...
I'm very happy with my 44's though... Russell (BigTex) and I can whoop up on those "big guys" , no problem ;)
Yep Jack, that's the one! I watch it all the time on DVD, but I wanted everyone to see (that already hasn't) how much of a bada$$ you are! You schooled all of us on that obstacle! It's nice to have on my computer as well. Thanks Doc!
Russell's sons' rig (the one posted in the "Proffitt gives Meanie a facelift" thread) is using 2.5" springs w/ SOA (front) w/42's.... if any less tire, yes, you are correct.
Doc, that was awfully nice of you to post that, I'd like to try it now that I've been LPG'd. Now quit bein' so modest and post a little of the RocDoc! My favorite is when you crawled over that biga$$ rock (me video taping, BTW) and JB said, "The old man's comin' out swingin" ...post it...
Nolen is exactly correct!!
WAAAAAAY to small of tire for D60's. Here is one example of how 44's look on a 40 (44x18.5x15) Russell Armstrong's "BigTex"... def one of my favs.
ALSO... look at his thread he started. It shows a great example of his son's rig "then & now" Tires then... 36x15...
... Just had to add this PIC. Perry took it, which I believe was probably full compression. ended up tweekin' a rim also. Thanks for the post Russell, always fun to think about that day. I still think if reverse would have engaged a 1/2 second earlier, Jeremiah would have made an unbelievable...
