A friend acquired a 1980 FJ40 that had a Frankenstein FJ70 or 80 swap- can't really tell what. After an inordinate amount of work to cut all the booty fab front suspension off and redo it, he is left with a puzzling dilemma- the rear brake drums that were on it are too small and nothing I've...

It's that time of the month again... ;)
All vehicles are welcome, so bring along a friend.
We will be holding a safe winching class also.
We appreciate your support!
Again this year, Toyota of Dallas is a Toys for Tots drop off station. I know there's a lot going on in everyone's lives, but if you can possibly be able to bring a toy or two to the meeting I'll collect them and bring them in.
The local FJ Crusier club had their December meeting here this...
For those that hadn't heard, tomorrow morning is our monthly off-road swap meet here at Toyota of Dallas, same parking lot where last month's LSLC meeting was.
8:00-10:00AM, coffee & donuts provided!
Just a casual hang-out swapping parts, stories, whatever... :D

The Lone Star Toyota Jamboree retains a title of being one of the largest gatherings of Toyota off-road enthusiast and vendors held in Texas, and the 2010 5th Annual Lone Star Toyota Jamboree is no exception. With an anticipated 150 + trucks coming from all over the United States, we really have...
Well, it's been a year and I haven't put it in the water yet. The free time I had been wishing for is obviously not going to happen, so my canoe is reluctantly going up for sale.
It's a Mad River 14' in the very hard to find tan color. I paid about $600, I'd like to get $500 for it.

Hey guys, this may sound crazy, but I need some advice. Wifey and I are gonna be in Hot Springs this August, and looking at the maps it seems like one could pretty much get from Hot Springs to Mena off the highway- lots of forest service roads, etc.
How is it in reality? The roads between...
Whar's Fro?
Yesterday after we got through cleanin' up the joint, giving our donation to TMTC & packing up camp, my darling wife offered to drive home so I could have a beer (or 2) and relax and enjoy the setting sun (directly in our eyes for 3 hours).
So I packed my lil' hotshot cooler (holds...

Had the A/C control out this weekend swapping a bulb, and on the back of the thing was a little switch. One end said Auto, and the switch was positioned opposite that.
I can only assume there was some automatic temperature feature that was an option, but Toyota's EPC calls the Auto switch...
