Replaced oil pressure relief valve-pressure still high!!

2H oil pressure is 80 psi at 3,000 RPM. As the bore wears the pressure relief piston no longer sits square on in the bore and wears a lip. Best to smooth out the lip by linshing while the piston is out before replacing extended piston then new piston won't catch on the lip in the bore. The other...

    Something broke off.What is it?

This will not be the same as your set up however you should get the idea of what part does performs each function and how the wheels are coupled together with an intermediate rod and tie rods. And are then are moved by the steering box [or idler] rotating a pitman arm or similar and the other...

    Something broke off.What is it?

Mate take some better pictures of the parts. Has it completely screwed out or is the end broken off? We can't tell much from those pictures you have posted. I am not sure what truck you have but the other end should go to the steering box or a steering idler. If that part was broken on my HJ75 I...

    1Hd without Turbo..slow acceleration

Good point DiehSt, When I got [BeanZ 's] Dave Tay's from the USA injectors rebuilt here by Berrima Diesel I had to get the number from his injector pump as the 1HDT injectors are matched to the pump's number. I had forgotten about this.

    Oh oh

Here they usually break and enter, or sneak in the back door, steal the keys for commodores and falcons then after hooning burn them on the salt pan flats. Being minors they get off scott free and repeat the same next week.

    Something broke off.What is it?

Ok Mate, This could cause you to have a very serious accident, imagine crossing to the incorrect side of the highway at speed or inadvertently running over some person because of steering failure. It needs urgent attention for sure. In Australia Transport Dept or Police would defect your vehicle...

    1Hd without Turbo..slow acceleration

Here is a couple of pics of the pumps from the Toyota Bible.. The 1HDT has a dual spring injector with a cartridge in it. These injectors have very critical settings and it is near impossible to repair and reset them without the proper Denco machines. In Australia Denco will not sell this...

    Low oil pressure on startup

Should have less oil leaks. With our 2H motors in the tropics it pays to switch to heavier oil after 120,000 Ks.

2H Turbo oil feed - Vacuum pump supply or not?

Must be something wrong with my 2H as it has plenty of oil going to the vacuum pump and not sure why anyone would take oil from the vacuum pump return line. When this hose fails you will see what I am saying LOL.

2H Turbo oil feed - Vacuum pump supply or not?

Wow, I find this hard to fathom. The 2H has about 25psi at idle, 80psi at 3,000 RPM. Most older 2H=90%+ motors have around 100+PSI as the bore in the pressure relief valve wears unless a longer after market piston is fitted to reduce the pressure. There is plenty of oil there even with a new...

    Id'ing a 2h turbo and manifold

That TO4 Turbo is usually what the mildly plus modified VL Commodores use with the Nissan RB30 motor. Need to check the numbers to find what is on the compressor and exhaust of the turbo to see if it is suited to the low reving diesel check with Duncan about this aspect. I have emailed and...
