brake line "WAY" size & pitch

It’s been a while (2012) but thanks to the help and guidance of all the members here, I successfully cleaned and repaired an entire cruiser… frame off. And yes, your methodology is what I would definitely use.

brake line "WAY" size & pitch

Except the threads on the inbound side of the rear circuit are buggered up… had a few left and now they’re gone. So it would be a really pretty paper weight and the cruiser would only have front brakes - probably not safe. ?? 🤷‍♂️

brake line "WAY" size & pitch

Thank You - I think I might have found something, but it will be Monday. With that, can you confirm that 7/70 to 7/80 is a 10mm x 1.0 (Size and THread) or do you know where I can confirm this?

brake line "WAY" size & pitch

Yes sir.. I have that, and I do believe your size and pitch is correct. (From My research) I have the part just threads are buggered up bad. SO either need a replacement with good threads or where to by another and build the bracket. I do believe I know the Japenese Flare is different than the...

    Help... Yes, Brakes again

Yes, they are Hard Lines and visible. Its just a short "S" shape and used air to make sure it was clear.

    Help... Yes, Brakes again

Thought about this too. To insure the MC was not leaking, I left it on the bench for hours... Fluid did not leak from MC or did air get into the lines to the reservoir. I checked the booster and see no indication there is a leak. The MC sat on the truck for over a week and the fluid levels...

    Help... Yes, Brakes again

Always a chance, but when I did the same procedure as a bench bleed in the truck. Looping from MC to reservoir it seems functional in both FR & RR. I did not touch the push rod - so I can look but the pedal and push rod are both functioning and actuating the MC. ( Don't think that is it?)

    Help... Yes, Brakes again

Yes, Oreilly's sells a kit. You use the provided plastic and clear tubing. I used this on the MC and then attached the PV and did it from the outbound port on that. Seems to me to be functioning correct. But still won't bleed or Gravity feed down to the rear axle...

    Help... Yes, Brakes again

Thank you for all of this. Didn't even know where to begin to find these. No, I am not sure it is the PV but not sure how to "test" it to confirm it either way. Again, thank you

    Help... Yes, Brakes again

I would have to build a bypass, which I am willing to do.... Not sure where to get the proper threads for this system. I would need a male to female adaptor. Correct? What sizes would that be? Thread pitch?

    Help... Yes, Brakes again

1978 FJ40, Original MC (MasterCylinder) rebuilt in 2013 and again now. Removed and cleaned the PV (ProportioningValve) by removing and inspecting the 21mm nut, spring, rubber washer, and confirmed fluid flow. (Seems good??) Bare with me as I attempt to explain: Was driving and discovered the...

    Ground up rebuild 78 FJ40

Been gone enjoying the cruiser, so just now seeing this. The ride is "squirrely"... I am aware, need to get new leaf springs, those are so stiff, short, but have yet to "flip" them, so dealing with it, and still recovering the budget from the build. Once I put the shims up front it has become a...
