Steering wheel tight after VGRS replacement

Just to update this post, after driving the vehicle for about 2 week I found that the steering feels a bit lighter. So either I have got used to the tightness steering or the cause of the tight steering were the ball joints that I replaced.

Hi, I got my heater core and radiator replaced by my local workshop. They did a great job. The total cost for was taken by the coolant manufacturer. I believe it was about $1300 for the spares and labor. It took like 3 days are the entire dashboard had to be removed. Basically everything was...

Hi everyone, I have a LC 2005 Cygnus (more or less the same as the LX470 but RHD) I recently had to remove (by pass) the coolant lines to my cabin heater radiator as it started leaking coolant into the cabin. After this bypass, I noticed my Air conditioner temperature control was not...

Help! burning smell coming from my vent

Thanks Spike555 for your analysis. Sounds about right. Can I replace the bearings only or do I have to replace the whole fan (fins, motor etc). Or can I replace only the motor ?

    Third brake light removal

remove the rear door inner trim carefully. if you use a lot of force sometimes you end up breaking the tabs. Then it becomes very difficult to refit. I experienced this. The light itself is held by 2 nuts (8mm I think), the thread is on the light itself. if you can get hold of a long socket...

    Adjusting the rear diff

Thanks for the quick response. Is there a way to check the condition of the U-joints? should I replace them? Bucfl: I'm not very sure about the grade of the grease/oil for the U-joint. I think they put the standard stuff that they use for ball joints etc.

    Adjusting the rear diff

Hi Everyone, Recently I took my SUV to the mechanic to further diagnose the famous cluck sound coming from the drive shaft. Surprisingly my mechanic said that there was a excessive free play in my rear diff. Of course I wanted to see for myself and found that he was correct. every time the...
