    I can imagine. I would bet that in the future (knock on wood) it would be much quicker to disconnect the coil or pull the efi fuse :meh:

    We also haven't talked about what your break-in looked like for the new rings/old walls. if those new rings didn't seat right on the cylinder walls you can expect some of these issues.

    I'm sure you already know this but the easiest check is to see if your CEL is on with key on. Of course, if it doesn't come on it doesn't answer any questions (burnt bulb, no constant power to ECU, no switched power to ECU, or a combination).
