    Taillights out, fuse not blown

I bought a trailer that had some hincky wiring. It caused a blown brake light fuse and all the traction and ABS lights to come on. Replaced the fuse and everything was fine. Over the weekend I rewired the trailer, plugging it into the truck every so often to check things, and now the wiring...

    62 won't come out of 4WD

So first snow comes and I had the truck in 4WD. Front hubs locked, button pushed. Tried to take it out of 4WD by pushing the button and it won't come out. Did the forward/reverse thing, unlocked and locked the hubs again, nothing. Light still on. What's the usual suspect on this? Vacuum line?

    What color is my truck?

Sorry for another paint matching question. At http://www.tcpglobal.com/aclchip.aspx?image=1989-toyota-pg01.jpg it shows 4 reds for an 89 Toyota. Which one would be correct for a FJ62? 3e5 super red 3e6 red 3f4 red 3h7 cardinal red they all kinda look red to me.

good deal on a miter saw

I know it's made in China but I needed a miter saw and found this at Harbor Frieght for $149. Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices May not stand up for the contractor crowd but $149 for a sliding compound single bevel miter saw w/ laser cutting guide is just stupid...

Bike rack on top or on hitch?

So I want to get a bike rack for my 62 and I think a hitch mount makes the most sense but it seems that roof mounts are more common. I can't really think of a downside to a hitch mount vs. the almost mortal certainty that I'll drive the truck into something with a low overhang and destroy the...

How much color sanding does $6,000 buy

A guy I know bought a new car (high end) and he found out after he bought it that it had $6k worth of paint work paid under warranty. Dealership says it was just "color sanded" because it had orange peel, which as I understand it is wet sanding and maybe reshooting the clear coat. So how...

Click click start, what's wrong here

since I've bought it my 89 FJ62 has had a starting issue. Turn the key and it clicks but doesn't start. Sometimes it would turn over once or twice and then it seemed like it wasn't getting juice and died. It doesn't arc out. You just have to turn it a bunch before it catches. Sometimes two...
